Dear IAPians,
As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe and secure environment for all participants, especially our youngest pediatricains, we want to address the critical issue of child abuse prevention.
Child abuse in any form is intolerable and goes against the values of our community. We urge all attendees to remain vigilant and report any concerns or suspicions of child abuse immediately to appropriate authorities.
In addition to our existing safety protocols, we are implementing additional measures to ensure the protection of children during our Indian Child Abuse Neglect and Child Labour Group of IAP, CANCLON & IAP TCB PEDICON 2024. This includes increased staff training, visible signage outlining reporting procedures, and enhanced screening processes for volunteers working with children.
We encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with the signs of child abuse and to prioritize the safety and well-being of all children in our care. By working together, we can create a safer environment for everyone in our community.
